VACANCY:
DRIVER
We are seeking a competent, reliable and self-motivated Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient and professional transport services while ensuring proper care and maintenance of the SACCO vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the SACCO vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws and SACCO policies.
- Transport staff, deliver documents and other authorized items as assigned.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled and in good working condition at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects, accidents or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate vehicle records including mileage, fuel consumption, service schedules and trip logs.
- Coordinate timely servicing and maintenance of the vehicle.
- Observe confidentiality and security
- Assist with loading and unloading of items where necessary.
- Adhere to all SACCO safety, security and operational procedures.
- Support business growth through marketing and cross-selling of SACCO products and services.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum KCSE Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driving licence-A2, B, D2.
- Valid NTSA PSV License.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences.
- At least 2–3 years’ driving experience
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Minimum age 35years
